By Road

As in the UK, traffic in Anguilla drives on the left. The road network is good but basic and the main road is asphalt, stretching throughout the 25 km (16 miles) length of Anguilla. Unpaved roads lead to beaches. Island tours can be arranged on an individual basis. Speeds are restricted to 30-50 kph (20-30 mph). Besides cars, bicycles and mopeds can also be hired.

Taxi

Taxis are available at the airport and seaports with fixed prices to the various hotels.

Car Rental

There are numerous agencies available, both local and international.

Documentation: Visitors must buy a temporary Anguillan licence. This can be issued by the car rental companies or the traffic department in The Valley on presentation of a national driving licence.
